About pest control in Utah
One state. Three climates. One scientific approach.
Utah’s pest pressure isn’t one problem — it’s three. Along the Wasatch Front, carpenter ants and paper wasps dominate spring and summer while mice push indoors before first snow. In Utah Valley, irrigation and orchards drive elm seed bugs, boxelder bugs, and seasonal mosquito swarms. Southern Utah’s rocky terrain brings scorpions, black widows, and termites that aren’t on Salt Lake’s radar.
Saela’s three Utah offices are staffed with technicians who know their region — not a national call-center pool. Every plan starts with a certified inspection, runs through our board-certified entomologist, and is backed by free re-services if pests return between visits.

Frequently asked
Questions Utah homeowners ask.
Are Saela's pest control methods safe for children and pets?
Yes. Our licensed products are EPA-approved and applied with safety in mind — targeting areas pests use, not areas people and pets use. We rotate premium products and methods to avoid environmental harm and prevent resistance.
What pests are covered by Saela's Protection Program?
Our Protection Program covers 29 of the most common household pests — mice, voles, wasps, spiders, ants, silverfish, earwigs, centipedes, scorpions, and many more.
Are there any guarantees or warranties on your services?
Yes. If pest activity returns between scheduled services, you're covered by free warranty re-services. We also guarantee only premium pest-management products are used on your home.
Is the service a one-time treatment?
We don't offer one-time service because it doesn't actually solve the problem. A one-time treatment kills visible adult pests but ignores eggs hatching weeks later. A consistent protection plan is the only way to keep pests away.
Does the treatment still work if it rains?
Absolutely. We only use the highest-quality products, designed so rain and water won't wash them away.
Is Saela Pest Control a legitimate business?
Yes. Over 3.4 million services performed nationwide, A+ BBB rating, ACE-certified entomologists on staff, and all service specialists accredited by the NPMA with background checks and continuous training.
How often do you recommend service appointments?
After your first service, we return in four weeks to control pests hatched from leftover eggs. After that we visit every eight weeks year-round — consistency is what keeps the barrier intact.
What does routine Saela service look like?
Your technician inspects the problem areas you've noticed, then the rest of the property, then spot-treats and applies the protective barrier. Typical visit is 30–45 minutes.
How long does the service take?
Most visits run 30–45 minutes. Larger properties or active infestations may take longer — we'll quote duration during your free inspection.
